Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)

ALDs are devices that can be used alone or in conjunction with hearing aids. Some examples of ALDs include: telephone amplifiers, personal TV listening devices, alerting devices (for the telephone, door bell, alarm clock, smoke alarm, crying baby, etc.) and personal or group communication devices (FM systems for group meetings, movie theaters, play houses, etc.).
