In my time off, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to travel, explore new places, learn about new cultures, and cook. In my free time, I like to play tennis, be active, and volunteer in my community..
What defines your personality?
I’d say my personality is defined by empathy, curiosity, and kindness. I try to maintain a light hearted nature to keep life fun and exciting. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with others and building meaningful relationships with those around me.
Why Did You Choose A Career In Medicine?
I decided to become a physician shortly after my 16th birthday. My friend and I threw a fundraiser where we asked our friends and family to bring Christmas presents to donate to the Ronald McDonald house at Cincinnati Children’s hospital. When we delivered the presents, met the patients and families, and roamed the halls of Cincinnati Children’s, I knew I had found my calling. I pursued ENT because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives as well as help patients navigate difficult obstacles such as head and neck cancer. It is truly a privilege to help others daily and to be able to give back to patients as much as possible.
Charities & Causes That You Are Passionate About?
I am very passionate about medical mission and medical outreach work, with outreach trips so far to Armenia, Spain, and Jamaica. I have also spent several years volunteering for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America.
Favorite Procedures or Surgeries You Like to Perform
I enjoy both in office/minimally invasive surgeries as well as larger surgeries in the operating room. I enjoy performing reconstructive surgery of the face after skin cancer removal, pediatric surgery, and open surgeries of the neck.
Goals that you have either personally, professionally or both
My goals are to provide excellent and compassionate care to each and every patient, being a supportive physician, and a trusted listener. I would like to continue my global outreach initiatives as well as serve as a mentor to young women physicians.
