I was born and raised in Washington State and completed my residency training and fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at UCLA.

Q & A with Dr. Rai:

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy exploring local coffee shops and bakeries, practicing pilates, and spending time with my husband and twin children at parks and farmers markets.

How would you describe your personality?

Motivated, dependable, friendly, persistent.

What inspired you to pursue a career in medicine?

I have had a lifelong passion for helping others, combined with a fascination for human physiology and the mechanisms of disease. Allergy and immunology allows me to combine these interests while making a meaningful impact on patients' daily lives.

What are your favorite procedures or surgeries to perform?

Skin prick testing, oral food challenges, drug challenges.

What personal and/or professional goals are you currently pursuing?

Personally, my goal is to be the best mother to my children and partner to my husband. Professionally, I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge in allergy and immunology so I can provide the highest quality care and the most up-to-date treatment options for my patients.

Do you speak any languages other than English?

Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi.
