Dr. Kenneth M. Patterson is a licensed Doctor of Audiology and Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Dr. Patterson discovered his passion for audiology after completing a four-year enlistment, including deployment to Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. His firsthand experience with frequent noise exposure sparked a lasting appreciation for hearing protection and the science of hearing.
Dr. Patterson earned his Doctorate in Audiology from California State University, Northridge, following his B.S. in Speech & Hearing Science from Arizona State University. He graduated at the top of his class at CSUN and received the Stephen Sinclair Award for Vision and Leadership.
During his one-year clinical externship at Kirsch Audiology in Santa Monica, under Dr. Stephen Kirsch, he developed a strong interest in hearing amplification and personalized hearing technology. His clinical experience includes audiological assessments, hearing amplification, auditory processing disorders, evoked potentials, and neurophysiological intraoperative monitoring, with experience treating both adult and pre-teen patients.
Dr. Patterson takes a patient-centered approach, ensuring patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their hearing-care plan. His goal is simple: help people hear better, protect what they have, and stay connected to what matters most.
Outside of audiology, Dr. Patterson enjoys spending time with his wife and their cats, going on adventures, lifting weights, and staying active.
